Canal Days at the Museum is your destination for marine displays and photographs as well as railway, airplane and ship models.  Enjoy the Great Lakes Model Boat Association’s remote control boat show in action and the Niagara Antique Power Association’s demonstrations from corn shucking to steam whistles. Watch artisans demonstrate their skills in blacksmithing, woodcarving, spinning, and rope ladder-making throughout the heritage village. The whole family can enjoy some toe-tapping live music under a canopy of shade. Want to meet a real life pyrate ? John Swallow will be here selling his trade goods. Satisfy your taste buds with food prepared by Mary Jane Smith from Riverside Berry Farm. Savour tea and freshly-baked biscuits in Arabella’s Edwardian Tea Room. Explore our exhibits in the main museum gallery. Stacking Up the Years: In 2018, INCO, now known as Vale, marks its centenary in Port Colborne. This exhibit examines the process of refining nickel together with the many influences the company has had on the community throughout the years. Putting the Tea in Port Colborne:  Arabella’s Tea Room marks its 40th Anniversary in 2018! Discover how the longest-operating volunteer-run tea room in Canada has grown from its humble beginnings in celebration of the tradition of afternoon tea!
