    CITY OF PORT COLBORNE

    PUBLIC NOTICE – HOLIDAY HOURS

 

 

 

Committee of the Whole/Council Meeting Schedule:

One regular Committee of the Whole/Council meeting will be held in December. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 11, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, third floor, City Hall, 66 Charlotte Street, Port Colborne.

 

The regular Council meeting scheduled for January 8, 2018 has been cancelled.  The first regularly scheduled Council meeting of the New Year will take place on January 22, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Offices, Council Chambers, 66 Charlotte Street, Port Colborne.

 

After that time, regular Committee of the Whole/Council meetings will be held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, starting at 6:30 p.m.

 

City Hall Holiday Closure:

City Hall will close for the holiday season on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

 

The City Works/Parks Yard will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2017 and January 1, 2018. Emergency calls during the closure can be made to 905-835-5079 (24 hour service).

 

Farmers' Market:

During the month of December, the Farmers' Market will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:

·         Friday, December 1, 2017;

·         Friday, December 8, 2017;

·         Friday, December 15, 2017;

·         Friday, December 22, 2017; and

·         Friday, December 29, 2017

 

Commencing January 5, 2018, the Farmers’ Market will be held on that day and every Friday thereafter from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
