Drinking Water Quality Reports

All municipalities in Ontario are required to produce an annual report on drinking water systems. This report is a requirement of Ontario Regulation 170/03 - Drinking Water Systems.

For all municipal residential systems, the reporting period is from January 1 to December 31 and is to be prepared by February 28th of the following year.

Sherkston Community Centre

The City is the Owner of the Sherkston Community Centre, which, up until October 22, 2018, was registered as a small municipal, non-residential system. As the District School Board of Niagara, who operated a school program out of the facility, left in June, 2013, it was determined through a risk assessment in 2018 by Niagara Region Public Health that the Community Centre no longer falls under the requirements for Ontario Regulation 170/03. As of October 22, 2018, this drinking water system has been registered as a small drinking water system under Ontario Regulation 319/08, which does not require annual reports to be posted to a website.
